Conditions - 2/4/2008

Good Morning,

It was a great weekend to have been out and about in the north woods. The temps moderated nicely, into the higher 20's, and Saturday even gave us another couple inches of snow. The trails in the Manitowish Waters area remain in Very Good Riding condition. Our forecasts have us in a "winter storm advisory", until tomorrow. It look like 3-5 inches is being forecast for later today, into tonight. After another system grooming tonight, trails should be really nice tomorrow.(If you don't see an early morning comment, that's where I'll be.)
For our other winter enthusists, the weekend was just super. With yesterday's sunny skies, the downhill ski areas were really active. Ice fishing also picked up, with a number of people spotted out on Rest Lake.(if they weren't catching anything, at least their dogs were having a good time.)
We should have another good week of winter fun.

As Always, Drive and Ride Safely.
