Manitowish Waters - 5/14/2009

Good Morning Everyone,

I thought I'd give you a brief update on our waters levels in the chain. As of this morning, our lake levels, at the dam, stand at 7' 2". Our high water mark is 8' 6", which brings us to 14 inches below high water. Not to bad of an improvement, since last Sunday.
As I mentioned last time, this weekend is the 5th Annual Birding Festival, at the North Lakeland Discovery Center. Also, with our water levels improving, it looks like more people are getting their boats back into the water. This could turn out to be a "cool", but busier weekend in the north.
