Good Morning Everyone,
Activity in Manitowish Waters continues to slowly improve, over our very slow April. As each day passes, more and more of our summer residents seem to be returning. Although it looks to be improvement, from our quiet spring, you surely don't have to worry about waiting in any lines.
Our lake levels in the Chain still appear to be gaining around an inch a day, and now are around 24+ inches shy of high water. Like the past 3-4 weeks, we still need rain. Hopefully, our forecast of showers for the next 3 days, will give us the needed run off to continue to boost the lake levels. I am actually a bit surprised to see our water level gains, despite the lack of rain. So lets keep those fingers crossed for a nice wet mid week.
Beyond Thursday, our forecasts are again clearing out for what should be a nice weekend.
Don't forget to start making those summer plans.
Have a good day,
Rich
