Manitowish Waters - 6/9/2009

Good Morning Everyone,

Let's see if I remember how to do this.
Just when you thought the next season, "summer", was upon us, the weather took a turn back to spring time. The positive note, in our cool down, is that we were able to benefit from some light rains over the past 7 days. Our "greener" world sure looks allot better.
Our chain of lakes also has benefited from the rains and inflows, and we now find ourselves pretty close to full operating water levels. For those interested, our water remains a bit too cool for any active enjoyment. Waters temps, also took a reversal, and have retreated to 57-58 degrees. Not exactly the right direction, for June.
Lets look on the positive side. We just have had 2 cold weeks, and it's probably time to expect the next change. Two weeks from now, and we will have forgotten the cold spring, and cold water, and start our plans for all the great weekends and weekdays that come with our summer.
